Hard to believe? Well, it's true. We couldn't have stayed in business for all these years (over 32!) if we had not allowed our lifetime collection of photography students to keep up with our whereabouts. You want support for your photographic efforts, and you want it NOW! TPC tries very hard to keep a "reply e-mail policy" of no more than 24-48 hours. The only time you might wait a little longer is if we discover we have a life, too, and wander off to take some pictures of our own of which we usually display a few via the Tom's Latest Photos tab on our Homepage.
Very few professors provide an "open door" policy for the student once the student has graduated; that's too bad, because AFTER graduation is probably when you need the most help, i.e. what the "real world" throws at you. TPC's door is open all the time and for every one of our registered students. We have a Staff of artists from several venues propped on the edges of their seats, in breathless anticipation awaiting a student's photographic technique question. Well, actually the Staff is waiting, but the edges of some seats... Ouch!
So, what qualifies you as a "registered student"? Simply ordering one of our Books, or Courses. It's that simple. If you will notice on our Package Description page, every item we offer reminds you of our Free Personalized Email Support for the photographic techniques topics covered. Nobody gets left behind, nobody receives an excuse, and nobody receives a "form letter"; every registered student of TPC receives personalized Email support. You must have your own Website in order for TPC to critique the work captured by our Course Students.
And what if you enroll in either our Self-Study or Certificate of Completion Course? Not only do you receive Email support, but both the Self-Study Course and the Certificate of Completion Course also include the same text-based critiques via Reply Email for photographic work you display on your own personal Webpage; C of C students receive his or her photo assignment critiques via Reply Email plus our magical digital editing and return a critique that includes the "before and after" images (where necessary), as well as a text critique for those images captured for that Assignment; see a Sample Text Critique with the student's submitted photos here, or view a complete C of C Student's Digitally-edited Critique here. Even after you finish either course, TPC will continue taking care of you as a Course Student just as though you are still involved in your first assignment.
Something else to consider concerning our Email answers to your photographic technique questions and Assignment submissions is that those who save or print our Emails will amass upwards of more than 100 pages of previously unprinted and updated techniques from TPC. It is very difficult to cover every scenario possible in my Books, which is why we tailor every Email support answer to each individual student's photographic techniques questions, needs, and goals. These potential extra 100+ pages is like having every chapter appended just for your style, desires, and abilities.
And even if you find your life too busy at times to continue with TPC at a regular pace, you are always welcome back to pick up where you left off (as in either of our Course Programs), if you have a special occasion, or most any reason; we are here to help. So, keep in touch, because we understand. Both the Self-Study and the Certificate of Completion Courses must be completed within 12 months from their start date (the date you let us know you want to start) but your our regular email support continues.
Gee, aren't we thoughtful?
